DOES INNOVATION OUTCOME INFLUENCE PERFORMANCE OF INDIAN MANUFACTURING FIRMS?

چکیده
This paper investigates the impact of innovation on performance selected manufacturing firms in India over period 2008-2017. Specifically, we emphasize role outcome terms number patents firms’ and consider total factor productivity growth, growth gross sales, profitability as indicators firm performance. The results based panel Feasible Generalized Least Square estimator shows that effect is positive. Further, higher for large compared to small firms.
